What the update says
The post says that parcels entering the EU from non-EU countries with a declared value of no more than €150 are affected by a customs-policy change from July 1, 2026. It describes a fixed €3 customs charge per product category, identified using the six-digit HS tariff code.
Tax-payment guidance
Recipients using postal or courier services are advised to respond promptly to applicable tax or customs-payment requests. Delayed action may increase the risk of a parcel being held, returned or otherwise disrupted.
Shipping and declaration guidance
The update recommends planning EU-bound shipments early because tax-inclusive route prices may be adjusted. It also says product names should be declared accurately and that recipients remain responsible for taxes or fees resulting from their declared information.
Check current route terms before shipping
Customs procedures, carrier handling and available shipping lines can change. Review the latest route information in your Sugargoo account and check destination-country requirements before submitting a parcel.
